Hi everyone, I’m Jeel, the founder of Next Step Academy 👋
I graduated in May 2024 from AICS Amsterdam International Community School, but my journey started much earlier, from Group 4, through MYP, all the way to becoming a DP graduate.
Along the way, I experienced it all, the transitions, the pressure, the sleepless nights, and the constant deadlines. What truly helped me was having guidance from my older sister, an IB graduate of 2019 now working as a tax law associate, who had already been through the journey and knew the tips, tricks, and expectations.
Over the past year, I have already been tutoring and working closely with students and parents, building a strong and trusted student base. I have guided 50+ students and parents, helping improve confidence, understanding, and results. We work together, review what is not working, and keep refining the approach until things truly click and progress becomes visible.
That guidance made everything feel more manageable, and not every student has that support.
That’s why I started Next Step Academy, to support students through their academic journey and university applications. To help ease the stress many parents feel along the way. This is a safe learning space focused on clarity, confidence, and guidance, so students don’t have to figure it out alone.
