Black gooey, oozing, viscous, all favorite words because they sit so well in the mouth. The Gooey eardrops are a physical manifestation of this. Weird, elegant and a tinge dark.

CREATE - new mimimono

Ever since I was little I would draw, on paper, on walls, basically on everything I could get my little hands on. The Create’s are inspired by that feeling of letting your imagination run wild and just creating whatever anyone thinks.

First there where the Silver Speckles…and now we have the Gold Speckles 😛
Too be honest I’m just really lusting over this material. The speckles floating in translucent recycled acrylic, jum!! Because the flecks of gold are so random each piece is unique, which I love.

New mimimono’s ✨
I have some new designs ready for spring!

I’ve been really enjoying working with the new metallic and translucent golden speckle acrylics. They are just so chic but also just really cool and minimalistic. And combining them with this oxblood red acrylic is just *chef’s kiss* ⚡️

All made and designed in Amsterdam and as always made from 100% recycled acrylic.
I really like them and I hope you do too!

Soo I dropped a little hint yesterday but I’ve added custom options to the webshop! So if you ever wanted to have a particular mimimono but in a different color, now you can! ⚡️

Or if you want an even more unique design I can blend existing designs, to create a new mimimono. Or we can even work together on a one of a kind piece! Looking forward to this new aspect of the brand. And also looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Sneak peek of new mimimono’s!
These will be hitting the shop in May ⚡️ inspired by coral and wavey ocean plants yet in a stylized and modern oxblood red color. I always like to juxtapose my shapes to my colors, it’s that graphic interplay that makes design so much fun.

As always made from 100% recycled Greencast acrylic and locally made in Amsterdam

Good stuff is coming! But…it’s been a bit quiet here as well. A lot of things seem to be happening at the same time and while I love that it’s also a bit much and that sometimes means I just keep it to myself and don’t share until it’s done 😅

But good things are coming. I’ll be moving into a new studio space soon! Can’t wait to have my laser and work setup in a new place and create a nice environment to work in. And it will be really nice to share more of the making process as well since my setup will be more in one place and life will hopefully not feel so fragmented all the time 🙌🏻

Also if that wasn’t enough I’m going to be moving to a new place in Amsterdam this spring 😛 If anyone knows about the Amsterdam rental market you know how lucky I got, so still cannot totally believe it too be honest. Big steps!

So the coming period will be busyyy but with lots of good things at the end I hope!

New year, new mimimono’s! ⚡️

Let’s start the year off with something fun instead of the grey world we seem to live in right now. I’ve designed four new models which I just released and will be sharing over the coming days. Have a look on the webshop if you can’t wait!

To start things of I have added the Mirrored Cara’s which I trialed last year and people really seemed to like 🤗

I redid my displays in matte white instead of cream acrylic and too be honest I’m rather pleased! I kinda thought this would not look so nice but I love the paired back abstractness of it.

Also this change was kinda forced upon me since everyone suddenly stopped selling my favorite non see through milky beige. The not so pretty sister color ‘champagne’ is still available. Although don’t be fooled it has less to do with bubbly and more with an opaque scummy bathwater color if you ask me 😛

Anyway, just wanted to show the new display in all it’s snowy whiteness. Enjoy!
