I’ve been running Pulp Vintage for quite a few years now, but most of the time you only see the finds—not the person who searches, selects, wears, restores, and passes them on. So here I am.
My name is Wolf. I’m an artist and vintage curator based in Amsterdam. I collect clothing and objects with character—pieces that have lived, that carry marks, that tell stories without speaking. I believe beauty lives in use, in patina, in the way a jacket or a chair has travelled through time.
Pulp Vintage isn’t just a shop to me. It’s a way of looking. A way of caring for what already exists. A way of keeping stories alive—of people, places, and time.
In the coming months I want to share more of the process: how I source, why I choose, what moves me. More workwear, more heritage, more wooden textures, more of the world I love living in.

Flickering light danced across a teen's room plastered with rock legends. Hidden beneath worn paperbacks, a forbidden treasure: Heavy Metal. Its glossy cover screamed alien landscapes and warriors in lenticingly provocativ armor, promising a world beyond the mainstream. A saved allowance, a strategic
birthday gift – anything to snag this hefty,
"adult" magazine. The price tag whispered
rebellion.

Inside, vibrant art exploded, each panel a rebellion against the usual comics. Moebius's mind-bending landscapes stretched imaginations,Corben's gritty tales pushed boundaries, and "Alien" stories sent shivers down spines. Late-night whispers with friends revolved around these fantastical worlds, fueled by the magazine's forbidden allure. Heavy Metal wasn't just reading, it was a secret handshake in a 70's bedroom, a ten-dollar portal to a wilder, darker world, a shared rebellion tucked away beneath worn paperbacks.
