KESHA FELIPA is a creative studio & label based in Breda and founded in 2015. I, the founder, named Kesha Felipa, have a background in fashion design and fashion strategy. I am a graduate of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI) and ArtEZ Fashion Masters. Last year I decided to focus on what makes me happy: making prints and fashion illustrations! The range of products that I design stretches fro

m fashion to home decoration; the products are produced independently and in small quantities. The collection consists of an assortment of cards, pouches, pillow covers, cotton bags and a limited edition of unisex sweaters. The design style of the studio is based on an urban feeling, but at the same time is modern, playful, a nod to Scandinavian style and has a cool touch. Positive coolness is the motto of the studio. Local sources and production is a high priority of the studio. My preference is mainly trimmings / materials from the Netherlands and Europe. The digitally printed fabrics for pouches, pillowcases and sweaters are produced in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands. The postcards are printed in the Netherlands. I do silkscreening from my workspace. Unlike as high street retailers I make one collection per year. I want to go into more in depth regarding design, reaction to fast fashion and prevent waste of materials.

Yay! Proud to announce that the Pop-up shop of KESHA FELIPA will be end of this month I feel a lot better than a few months ago so the story finally can be continued. You can visit the temporary shop from 26 Feb til 4 March in Amsterdam. And be part of the transition from stationary studio to urban fashion brand!👊🏽

Unfortunately the founder got ill this week and the pop shop of KESHA FELIPA will not be in the upcoming week. The event will be rescheduled to the beginning of 2018. Meanwhile the new online shop will get online soon! Yay!

After months (maybe even years) of blood, sweat, tears, cursing and sneak peaks finally the day has come to announce that KESHA FELIPA will have its first Pop-up shop! From 30 October till 5 November 2017 the shop will be open at De Merkenwinkel in Gerard Doustraat in Amsterdam. In 2015 it all started with a few cards and traveling throughout The Netherlands to sell these same cards. But with a Master in Fashion Strategy and Bachelor degree in Fashion Design, designing clothes for visual storytelling purpose is in Kesha Felipa’s blood. Playfulness, street wise and slow fashion combined in one label. All starting this November!

Work in progress: KESHA FELIPA kidswear! Ik heb hard aan de slag met de eerste prototypes van kids sweaters. Dit is mijn eerste resultaat. Er moet nog wat worden bijgeschaafd: label moet lager, juiste maatlabels bestellen etc. Na de feedback van vrienden en de markten waarop ik heb gestaan heb ik besloten ook een aantal stuks voor kinderen te ontwikkelen. Stoere kids kleding met urban prints! :) Volg mijn proces via instagram () en Facebook.

Work in progress: KESHA FELIPA kidswear! Yes, I am busy creating the first protos of unisex kids sweaters. This is my first result. Need to replace the label and it also needs the correct size label (98/104). I have to say, I really like it. The feedback I got from friends, buyers at lifestyle markets let me step into kidswear with my urban prints. More to come soon!
