Our Amish Barn Stars are back in stock with new sizes!

Hudson River's Amish stars as featured in V.T. Wonen, Margriet and 101 Woon Ideeën.

Our stars are hand made from recycled barn roofing and painted in traditional colors by the Amish in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Stars and hex signs are traditional decoration on Amish barns.

The stars are available in the following sizes, width measuring from point to point: 30 cm, 55 cm, 74 cm, 107 cm, and 122 cm. The 107 cm and 122 cm require simple assembly with the included nuts and bolts.
Available in colors black, white, blue, red, light green and mustard yellow (except sizes 30 cm & 122 cm)

On Sunday the 9th of November, artists at Halte Zamenhofstraat are hosting the last of their Fall open studios.

Come take a tour. Visit Hudson River at our new atelier at 140-5 Zamenhofstraat. We will be exhibiting paintings and drawings by John Biesheuvel, ceramics by Marga Janssen, vases by Jacob Raeder and a new addition for Fall, absolutely scrumptious hand knit hats and scarves from Het Zwarte Schaap.

There is a lot happening in Noord and we are excited to be a part of it.

Hudson River at Noordwaarts!

We are proudly participating in Noordwaarts this year; every 2nd Sunday in this Fall from September to November, our workshop in Zamehofstraat is opening to the public with our pop-up exhibition presenting ceramics by Marga Janssen, paintings and drawings by John Beisheuvel and ceramics by Jacob Raeder.
