Before Charkha & Loom was a brand, it was a search for home.
A search for the fabrics I grew up around. The crafts I saw as a child. The stories woven into every thread, block print, and hand-finished detail.

What began as remaking my own wardrobe slowly became something bigger… a journey across artisans, workshops, markets, and communities that have kept these traditions alive for generations.
Along the way, I learned that handmade is never just about clothing. It’s about people. Their skill, patience, heritage, and the stories they carry forward through their craft.

Charkha & Loom was born from that belief: that heritage deserves a place in modern wardrobes, and that slow, thoughtful craftsmanship should be celebrated, not forgotten.

This is the story behind the brand.
