Coppenhagen Beads is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The shop is now run by the fourth generation: brother and sister David and Isis Coppenhagen.

The business has been located in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam for 65 years and is the first bead store in the Netherlands. It is a place where generations of people have come together to make or have their own jewelry made.

To celebrate the family’s long history, as well as beads, creativity and craftsmanship, they are hosting a small and accessible exhibition inside the bead shop on the Rozengracht. The exhibition features photographs, jewelry and other visuals from the past 100 years.

They are also selling a limited edition Coppenhagen 100 keychain, posters and other items in small runs.
