And so we said goodbye to South Africa and took to the skies... Truth- expectations weren’t high as we were traveling with 2 small boys and had to adhere to COVID safety regulations during the whole flight... and then came an unexpected but very welcome upgrade to business class for all four of us- it was the best flight ever and a superb start to our new chapter.
God’s blessings chase me down and overtake me.

So long South Africa - I have loved every moment and you have been my home and heart for 37 years. The last 5 years in Jozi have been especially memorable raising our family and saying goodbye today has been heartbreaking. However, God needs us to be somewhere new now and I am excited to follow His call and see what lies ahead of us.

PS Moving during a Covid pandemic and lockdown isn’t for the faint hearted. Virtual goodbyes and no farewells have made the last week emotionally taxing. Thankful for wine and technology!
