The name MIPACHA (Quechua for “My World”) and our logo, are inspired by the ancient Inca belief that Cuzco is the centre of the world. We make fashionable high quality footwear in Peru and Portugal. MIPACHA started its productions in Peru. Combining traditional Peruvian textiles with western fashion. All our canvas sneakers are hand made in Peru by Peruvians. We recently started productions in Portugal as well. In Portugal we design and manufacture our luxury collection, premium leather sneakers and boots with embossed Peruvian inspired patterns. The Vision
Our goal is to make quality fashionable footwear. Our vision is to do so in a sustainable matter. At MIPACHA we love "creative fashion" but we care about the environment and the people involved with our process. That is why our factories have westerns working conditions and all our employees benefit health insurance, pregnancy relieve and a pension system. In Peru it can be difficult for the working class to receive loans to improve their living situation or to pay for an education. We have set up a micro loaning system within our company, which makes it possible for our employees to make these life changes. The Promise
We will not cut costs on sourcing cheaper materials and change to cheaper production at expense of our quality or the working conditions of our employees.
