With late Summer around the corner, it is is such a joy to have a garment that provides you with both, light wear ànd a little warmth... Knitted in a cotton/merino blend, this classic is perfect for variable weather conditions.
I am so fond of this tee design by Hanne Rimmen • Nordic Knitwear Designer & Illustator that I made already two of them, and probably there will be one more ;-)

in low contrast colour palette...

Natasja Hornby latest shawl design Amsterdam, brings so many options to be knitted in your the colour combi of your own preference.

My first version was knitted with high contrasting yarn colours and I love it for its vividness it brings to natural shades that I wear most of the time.

For the second I choose a more harmonious pastel palette... I think it is a completely different but also very attractive garment.

designed by Natasja Hornby was released last Friday...
I had the honour to participate in the team of testknitters and knitted it with pleasure in a rich contrast of clay, aubergine and rustred.

But once was not enough.... After binding off I immediately felt the urge to cast on a second Amsterdam, this time in a low contrast palette of ivory, Robin's egg blue and sunshine yellow. The yarn I choose is a blend of merino and organic cotton...so a 'light' version it is!

It is with great joy that I show you the pastel tulipes of Amsterdam!

Another amazing shawl design of Natasja Hornby will be released today!
'Ansterdam' is part of an extraordinary collection of mosaic knitted shawls, inspired by colourful Moroccan mosaics.

Natasja blended visual memories of her travels to Marrakech and famous Dutch tulips of her beloved city of Amsterdam in this .

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to testknit this beauty! And so mesmerised by Amsterdam, that immediately after binding off, a second one had to be casted on!!! Will come back to you with pictures of that one soon...

How is it possible that it is such a perfect, suncovered day, when Natasja's new design is launched? Well, I guess it is because this Yua top, is perfect wear on a day like this.
Airy, comfortable and elegant.... And so much fun to knit!

Diamonds are forever!

What a beautiful new design by Natasja Hornby this Stilla! !
Starting with an extraordinary diamond shaped colorwork yoke, accomplished to a complete sweater by filling in the lower bodypart ánd the sleeves with short rows.

I had the honour testknit this treasure and see all the other beautiful Stilla's. Just check to see them 'for your eyes only' hihi

Here comes the sun....

Finished this perfect spring and believe it or not, when I put it on this morning, a sunny day started! Probably due to the fact that it is designed by from Italy ☀️
Knitted with Fraya Thoughtful, a blend of bamboo and silk.

After some serious Xmas knitting, my new shawl design LYSSE is entrusted to broad daylight today, for the very first time.
LYSSE is an old Scandinavian word that means little light or tiny flame, and if you take a close look you can notice some little flames in the pattern. In the cold and dark days of the season, LYSSE will provide you with warmth!

I knitted my shawl with a yarn of pure and natural alpaca/wool mix.
