Preview of the new one of a kind set "Vitral". This is repurposed vintage cotton *ahem*curtains*ahem* that will be made into a bodice like the one shown in the picture (this one is mine 😊) and a calf length skirt, of course all plus size.
I'm trying some different patterning for this one: splitting the front of the bodice in three pieces for each side instead of two, to give more support to the "ladies". Release when I finish (probably in a couple weeks 😅)

5 things to know about the New Academia!
1: The fabric was bought at the fabric baron closing sale (we will always remember you 🥲) it was super cheap for a 100% cotton fabric which also means they're the least expensive clothing I ever made.
2: Cotton twill means the pinstripes are part of the wave of the fabric and not a print (ask me how much thread these left behind while sewing 🤣)
3: There are only 10 skirts and 10 trousers made, because stopping overconsumption starts in the production phase. I still have some fabric left so might consider taking commissions if you're not plus sized or on the opposite, bigger than the size I made (which is max 120cm waist for skirt and 110cm for the trousers)
4: BIG POCKETS BIG POCKETS (seriously, the trousers pocket are so big that sometimes I have to fish for my keys in there 🤣)
5: I'm a short hobbit who wanted Capri hobbit pants, but I understand that people are usually taller than I am so the trousers are longer than the ones I show in pics (can always check the length measurements in the web) they would still technically fit me, but I'd have to roll the hem to wear with flat shoes so nope, short ones for me 🙂

Secret feature of the New Academia trousers 😜
