In more than a century-and-a-half the company has grown from a reliable jute sack weaver into a leading supplier of contemporary carpets. Van Besouw is niet van gisteren, maar dateert uit 1839. In ruim anderhalve eeuw groeide het bedrijf uit van een degelijke wever van jute zakken naar een toonaangevende leverancier voor eigentijds tapijt.

From May 27 to 29, 2026, Design District will take place at the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. This leading exhibition brings together interior professionals, designers, and brands around the latest developments in design and materials.

Van Besouw will be at stand S48, where we will present the evolution of Studio by Van Besouw. At the heart of our presentation is our robot tufting technology, offering new possibilities in structure, detail, and colour. A technique where craftsmanship and innovation come together.
