Sally Ovisi designs from her vision of contemporary clothing culture and streetwear.
The of origin Persian fashion designer lives already 10 years in Amsterdam and after her studies at the Artemis Rotterdam fashion academy and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, had various shows and exhibitions including her first show ever in New York's Milk Gallery during the New York City Design week at the invitation of Streetlab Amsterdam.
Meanwhile residing at Heesterveld Creative Community in Amsterdam ZO where her neighbours as they are enterprising artists of all forms , are her great inspiration. Likewise for her collection she has created for the theme "Lost in Abundance" , has it translated into clothing wearable in many different ways possible.
In contemporary culture, people often buy more clothes than they actually need. By wearing clothing that you can wear in different ways, you're both creative and environmentally conscious.
With special thanx to MAFB or providing such a platform for young and upcoming artist/designers.
