In a world taken over by image generators, infinite ads and doomscrolling 3 souls born in the late 90s from vastly different paths of life met with no corporate assignment, budget or branding guidelines in mind.

Only the admiration for each other expressed through the curiosity of what happens when they serendipitously meet in the ever-changing city of Rotterdam to dress up, play and have a date.

Povilas Gegevicius invited the photographer Elena Krukonytė and swimmer Ruta Meilutytė to immortalise the already non-existent studio in Schiekadeblok.

Vaizdų generavimo, nesibaigiančiu reklamų ir doomscrollin'imo užvaldytame pasaulyje trys sielos gimusios dešimtojo dešimtmečio pabaigoje, iš labai skirtingų gyvenimo kelių, susitiko be jokių korporacinių užduočių, numatytų biudžetų ar prekės ženklu gairių.

Tik su susižavėjimu vienas kitu ir smalsumu kas nutinka, kai jos atsitiktinai susitinka nuolat besikeičiančiame Roterdamo mieste persirengti, pažaisti su rubais ir surengti neužmirštamą pasimatymą.

Povilas Gegevičius pakvietė fotografę Eleną Krukonytę ir plaukikę Rūtą Meilutytę įamžinti jau nebeegzistuojančia studiją Schiekadeblok'e.

On June 2nd, I had a very cool opportunity to participate in the 'Feeling Fashion' showcase. It was the launch event of platform where they invited a guest curator to organize an experimental fashion and performance event.

For it, I was paired with who used my two looks as a starting inspiration point for a new performance.

It was very humbling and inspiring to see how my work can be transformed and reinterpritated. It was a really cool experience.

Thanks, , for being open, listening, and creating a great, new performance.

In March, I had the chance to participate in the Epson Design Awards! Alongside 11 other designers, I showcased 2 looks which were made from newly created print designs printed by the Epson sublimation technology.

I am grateful to say that I won the award for the "Most Colourful Print Design"

or as Ruben Jurriën B. from the jury said "And when we say most colourful we don't just mean pretty colours we also mean most interesting, most creative and most innovative use of print and modern technologies such as AI."

I would like to thank Labeledby, Jacob van Vuure, Epson Nederland en Epson Belgium for this opportunity, the jury for fu***ng with my POV and my incredible creative partner and collaborator Masha for helping and supporting me along the journey.

A few highlights from the .rotterdam “paradox” fashion show where I got to show “The Familiar Other” collection. Was fun to revisit the collection and have a few newly styled looks.

I’m happy to announce that I was selected to sell my hats and clothes at FASHIONCLASH Tilburg Festival’s makers market. Come hang out and have a fun fashion day date with your parents, friends or inner artist.

FASHIONCLASH Tilburg is a 1-day fashion event on Saturday 2nd March in Theater De Nieuwe Vorstin Tilburg. Various fashion performances, a (continuous) film program with fashion films, upcycling workshops and an exhibition will take place between 12:00 and 20:00.

You can also buy items from creative makers and there is a Talk in which we would like to share more about cultural fashion projects for teenagers and young adults. You can find the full program here .

FASHIONCLASH Tilburg is freely accessible, but for some program parts, it is important to sign up in advance (due to capacity). Simply register for the guest list of the program component you would like to attend.
