Flat lay military style! With its 21oz fabric this 1967 CPO Shirt is a true beast!

The CPO shirt is a shirt that was originally worn by the US Navy and designed for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs). It is a heavy shirt, usually made of wool, which is often worn as a kind of light jacket. Its characteristic features are its robust materials, two breast pockets and classic collar.

Originally part of the uniform, it has found its way into civilian outdoor wear over the years and is also an integral part of our collection.

The 1967 CPO Shirt is a further development and features two additional slip pockets.
The 21oz denim is produced exclusively in Japan according to an old recipe on old shuttlelooms at the Collect weaving mill.

This 1943 CPO Shirt is a classic US Navy deck shirt which were designed for cold weather conditions and were worn as an additional insulating layer under the N1 deck jackets.

Thanks to its heavyweight wool, this 1943 CPO Shirt also provides ample warmth even without the N1 deck jacket, effectively protecting you from wind and weather.
