Today felt like a small celebration — the first day of spring here in the Netherlands. The sun was out, the air was soft, and I finally got to refinish furniture outside again.

This iconic IKEA Poäng chair, designed by Noboru Nakamura, was one of the pieces I worked on today. The beautifully curved bentwood frame in its warm honey tone feels even more sculptural in daylight, while the cognac leather upholstery adds richness and timeless character.
