Printed myself a souvenir tee while traveling in indonesia. Based on all the gorgeous flowers and surfvibes. I think I might have used 3D ink on some of the flowers but can’t really remember so it will be a fun surprise when I set the ink haha!

In a previous post we asked you to share your favourite Bobbinhood memory and it is so awesome to read all your stories and see your creations, we LOVE IT!!
In our newsletter we already shared that Instagram has changed in the last 8 years. One of the things that has changed is the use of hashtags. We used to share and inspire eachother as a community but nowadays we are not able to see all posts anymore 😭 so please tag us because it makes us so happy to see your creations ☺️

We went on a pretty darn cool adventure to Bali and Lombok. We were invited to teach a workshop on an amazing event organized by .id So we figured while we were at it we might as well stay for another 2 weeks and take the time to brainstorm about Bobbinhoods future, screen print lots aaaaand surf eeeevery morning. SO that’s what we did. We got up at 5 every morning, hopped on our scooter, surfed until we had noodle arms, had breakfast, did looong brainstorm sessions (big fan of those), printed a cool souvenir tee and repeated that full process for 10 blissfull days. Under the Lombok sun (well, it was rainy season) we decided to make more space in our life for creativity. Because there in our Lombok stillness (no kids, lots of waves) we had time to listen to our hearts and look deep into our soul and we missed creating things so bad. The thing we want to inspire people to do, was something we didn’t really have time for anymore. So we decided to close our webshop forever and make space for our creativity. To inspire again. If you want to get your hands on our aaawesome products. This is your last chance! Yeeehaaa!

id invited us to Bali last month to teach workshops. It was an amazing experience and we might have stayed a week longer to brainstorm about the future of Bobbinhood (and maybe we also surfed our brains out:)). We screen printed lots, brainstormed lots and surfed lots and it was bliss. And we came up with sooooo many cool ideas for Bobbinhood! We felt so clearly we had to make space and time for that. If you have followed our journey and mission the last couple of years you might know that we are no fan of black friday. And that is an understatement! Black Friday was created for companies to clear their warehouses so they could develop and bring new products in the following year. Now in this day and age of oooooover consumption, black friday has turned into something else: Brands produce more products, especially for Black Friday, at lower quality, to sell at lower prices. That doesn’t match with our manifesto. We make things that are never out of season, that are always made fair, with heaps of love and always have the same high quality. Because we only use awesome materials, always. And our margins are always fair so no way we can drop our prices 70%. We are immensely proud of all these things. Because that is the company we want to build and we want to add to this world. And we are so happy with all of you, because you are the reason we can go on this fun adventure we call Bobbinhood!

We are going on a really cool adventure this December with Bobbinhood (we’ll tell you more about that later!). So we have decided to limit our shipping dates and we will not be making any more stock than now listed on our website.
Make sure to order in time as we already notice some delays at the couriers. ✨

I think one of the best things of the screen print cafe is to see people create 💛 everyone can do it, no matter who you are, what your age is or where you come from. In the past few months we had a lot of different events with lots of different people who all have one thing in common: they created their own happy moments 🥰

We just added some new slots to our calendar because we can all use some happy moments in winter time right?

We are still truly madly deeply in love with our Easy Screen Printing Book 💛 It brings us so much joy to go through it and it contains SO much information, tips & tricks about stencil screen printing. Plus, for this book we collaborated with 14 amazing artists from all over the world, they created such awesome stencils that come with the book. Unfortunately the hardcover book has been sold out for a while now but we still get frequent requests for it. Soooo we we’re wondering… would there be enough interest for a re-print of the book?
