I'm Charlotte and I'm the face behind CH Design. I grew up moving around, and I've lived in five different countries. I've always collected things that came from these different places, and when I launched CH Design, I knew I needed to somehow translate this into my collections. This led me to collecting flowers from places I visited, with which I'm able to craft pieces that reflect my unique aesthetic meanwhile carrying the sentiment of travel.

Well… this definitely didn’t go according to plan 🫠

Most of my Aurora Forest crystal pendants didn’t make it through quality control. Most of them have huge imperfections, so big that I don’t feel right about even using them as samples. It’s the painful reality of making everything by hand unfortunately.

Now I don’t even have enough crystals to finish my samples, so there’s only one thing to do…

Time to make them again 🥲

Before these tiny flowers can make their way into a piece of jewelry, they need a little preparation first. There’s something sooo satisfying about watching them fall from their stems, especially knowing what they’re about to become...

One of my favorite parts of hosting workshops is watching everyone create something completely different.

Today I had the pleasure of hosting two (!!) bachelorette parties, and seeing each person choose their own flower charms, colours and little details reminded me why I love doing this so much.

A workshop isn’t just about making jewelry.
It’s about getting creative, laughing together, celebrating a special moment and creating a keepsake you’ll still have long after the wedding day has passed.

The final missing piece💙🌿

After months of searching, I finally found the flowers for Aurora Forest, the fourth and final color story of my very first wholesale collections.

It might just look like a bunch of flowers today, but over the next few weeks you’ll get to watch them transform into jewelry as I prepare for my very first trade show,

August is looking like a fun one… 🌸✨

Kicking things off with a market this weekend (August 1 & 2), followed by a special Shop in Shop at LUSH The Hague next Sunday. 💛

And at the end of the month… something very exciting is happening. I can’t share the details just yet, but if you’ve been following along, you won’t want to miss this one.

Not every order leaving my studio is from my newest collection... and I love that.

Today’s order is two bracelets from the GirlMeetsDenHaag × CH Design collection, a collection inspired by connection, and designed by (with flowers from The Hague of course)

Packing orders will always be one of my favorite parts of running CH Design. Knowing that something I’ve made is about to become a part of your story is so special.

While La Vie en Violet has been taking over my studio these past few weeks, it’s so special to see these pieces continuing to find new homes too!

One question I get asked quite often is how I photograph and wear my earrings while making sure every pair still arrives completely new.

The answer is actually quite simple.

Before photographing or filming, I replace the huggie hoops with a non-pierced version. That way I can style the earrings exactly as they’ll look when worn, without ever using the actual hoops that will be sent to a customer.

Once I’m finished, the flower pendants are attached to brand new stainless steel huggie hoops, ready for their new owner.

Most jewelry brands work with sample pieces for photoshoots, but because every CH Design piece is truly one of a kind, that’s simply not possible.

This little system lets me show you exactly how each pair looks while making sure the earrings you receive are always unworn.

It’s one of those small details that most people never see, but it’s something that’s always been important to me💜

I always wonder how a collection will feel once it’s finally outside of my atelier

Not on in the molds.
Not under bright lights.
Not carefully arranged for product photos.

But out in the evening sun, catching the light exactly the way I imagined while I was making it.

I think that’s my favorite moment.

Seeing the flowers move with you instead of simply being admired on a table.

La Vie en Violet was made for these days.

She’s finally here.

La Vie en Violet has been years in the making.

It all started with a bouquet of purple and fuchsia baby’s breath that I came across in Amsterdam. I couldn’t leave without taking them home, even though I had no idea where they would lead me.

Over the past few years, those flowers have quietly waited for the right moment.

This collection is that moment.

Every piece is handmade with those same flowers, preserving a memory of a place that meant so much to me. No two pieces are exactly alike, and once one finds a new home, it will never be made again.

Thank you for following along with this journey over the past few weeks. Sharing the process with you has made this launch even more special.

I can’t wait to see where La Vie en Violet goes next.
