Friede Baby Sensory is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend to all new parents and their little ones.
For over a year, I joined Sietske's Baby Sensory classes with my little one. Sietske knows better than anyone how to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where not only your child, but also you as a parent, feel welcome, safe, and secure. It is nice to be able to chat with Sietske and the other parents for a bit during the break between classes. Sharing your uncertainties, exchanging experiences, or laughing together; Friede Baby Sensory is a safe bubble right in the middle of your new life.

Friede Baby Sensory is een plek die ik van harte aan kan raden voor alle nieuwe ouders en hun kindje.
Ruim een jaar heb ik met mijn kindje deelgenomen aan de Baby Sensory sessies van Sietske. Sietske weet als geen ander een warme en gemoedelijke sfeer te creëren, waar niet alleen je kindje, maar ook jij als ouder je welkom, veilig en geborgen voelt. Het is fijn om even met Sietske en de andere ouders te kunnen praten in de pauze. Je onzekerheden delen, ervaringen uitwisselen of samen lachen; Friede Baby Sensory is een veilige bubbel midden in je nieuwe leven.

Warmer and longer days mean more opportunities to explore outdoor activities with your baby / little one. Here are a few suggestions for spring or summer activities, plus a few indoor activities in case it does rain!
* let your little one lie or crawl comfortably on the fresh grass for a new sensory experience (my daughter took her first steps in the fresh spring grass)
* take a nice walk looking for flowers to look at and smell
* go to the beach for a very special experience in the sand with feet in the sea
* visit the library for a book with beautifully colored pictures about spring / summer
* look at or pet cute animals at the petting zoo
* fill a treasure basket with all kinds of safe objects to explore
* let your little one splash around with water

Warmere en langere dagen betekent meer mogelijkheden om buitenactiviteiten met je baby / kleintje te ondernemen. Hier zijn een paar suggesties voor lente- of zomer activiteiten, plus een paar binnenactiviteiten voor als het toch gaat regenen!
* laat je kleintje lekker liggen of kruipen op het verse gras voor een nieuwe zintuiglijke ervaring (mijn dochter zette haar eerste stapjes in het verse lente gras)
* een mooie wandeling op zoek naar bloemen, om te bekijken en te ruiken
* ga naar het strand voor een heel speciale ervaring in het zand en met de voetjes in de zee
* een bezoek aan de bibliotheek voor een boek met mooi gekleurde plaatjes over de lente / de zomer
* lieve dieren bekijken of aaien op de kinderboerderij
* vul een schattenkist met allerlei veilige objecten om te onderzoeken
* laat je kindje lekker spetteren met water

About me; with the aim of getting to know me and Friede better, I came up with a photo challenge for myself. Over the next few weeks, months, years, I will post a photo about myself, my family, or the world behind the sessions once in a while, that in one way or another connects to one of the themes of Baby Sensory.

Theme: "Sensations"
It is so incredibly precious to me. Actually, I just have 3 "babies"! Three amazing "little ones" with, in my opinion, beautiful, original names. Who and what are they, and what do their names actually mean?

* Eponine: my eldest daughter, born in 2006. Her name symbolizes emotion, resilience and heroism, named after Éponine from 'Les Miserables'.
* Luure: my youngest son, born in 2013. His name symbolizes communication, strength, and tradition, named after Nure from 'Jul i Svingen'.
* Friede: my company, founded in 2022. The name means 'Peace' in the sense of 'protection', 'safety', 'security'. Something I wish for all the babies in this world.

Kennismaken; om jullie mij en Friede beter te laten leren kennen, heb ik een foto challenge voor mezelf bedacht. De komende weken, maanden, jaren, zal ik om de zoveel tijd een foto posten over mij, mijn gezin of de wereld achter de sessies, die op de een of andere manier aansluit bij één van de thema's van Baby Sensory.

Thema: "Sensations"
Het is zo ontzettend dierbaar voor mij. Eigenlijk heb ik gewoon 3 "baby's"! Drie geweldige "kindjes" met, vind ik zelf, prachtige originele namen. Wie en wat zijn ze en wat betekenen hun namen eigenlijk?

* Eponine: mijn oudste dochter, geboren in 2006. Haar naam staat symbool voor emotie, veerkracht en heldendaad, vernoemd naar Éponine uit 'Les Miserables'.
* Luure: mijn jongste zoon, geboren in 2013. Zijn naam staat symbool voor communicatie, kracht en traditie, vernoemd naar Nure uit 'Jul i Svingen'.
* Friede: mijn bedrijf, opgericht in 2022. De naam betekent 'Vrede' in de zin van 'bescherming', 'veiligheid', 'zekerheid'. Iets wat ik wens voor alle baby's van deze wereld.

"Zeg hallo tegen de Zon," through the eyes of a baby! 🥰

Baby Sensory is back in full swing after the May holidays. So many babies and children are once again watching and listening, fascinated, to "Say hello to the sun," the opening song of Baby Sensory. ☀️

Such big eyes! Such attention! Such a connection with mom or dad (or with the neighbors, the neighbor's babies, or with me 😂). It is heartwarming to see all those reactions! 🥰

And did you know that Baby Sensory sessions are not only fun, but also super important for your little one's development?! Every session is carefully designed to stimulate your child's early development. 🤗

Friede Baby Sensory Class x Mini Photoshoot
A magical experience for you & your little one 💛

Join us for a special session designed for babies (0 - 12 months), where play, connection, and beautiful memories come together.

🌙 Theme: Baby Sensory Tap & Clap
Think of singing songs, an activity about all kinds of weather, bouncing on a big bed, finger puppet play, a tap & clap activity, and dancing with colored ribbons.

During the session, you and your baby will also be invited to our pop-up photo studio for a short, relaxed photoshoot, capturing genuine, natural moments just as they are. Feel free to bring a favorite toy or blanket, or accessory to make it extra personal.

✨ Beautiful portraits to cherish

The Baby Sensory session and the mini photoshoot are for free. The event is for new people.
