Welcome to Van De Steppe, a Dutch brand founded in 2018 by Zolboo Nemekhbayar from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We specialize in crafting timeless garments from pure cashmere, camel, and yak wool.

Zolboo's childhood summers on the Mongolian steppe inspired her to bring these fine products to Europe after completing her Master's in Economics and Governance at Leiden University.

Today, our small but dedicated team is focused on sustainable production and consumption. We also empower women, who make up 95% of Mongolia's cashmere and textile industry, by providing fair employment and wages, contributing to Mongolia's economy. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
