There are so many topics which we can struggle to explain to our kids. It is easy to point what an Apple is or how water looks like. But how do you explain abstract things such as love or friendship?
Books are great tools to start a dialogue here. This is one of the book InterKids definitely recommends and will be of great value at any home/school library.

Have a look at how friendship and support are illustrated in the colorful pictures and how the unfriendly behavior keeps children apart. That is one of the books where text and illustrations work in tandem and make the story so meaningful.

My dream book.
Will YOU write it?

Inclusion is one of the main topics leading the world discussions in the past few years.
Children books addressing the topics of inclusion and diversity are often the ones to be selected for publishing.

Despite of the variety of children books nowadays, it can be difficult to find the one you want in particular. I can often find myself puzzled with the questions of my kids. And I wish there was a book with different short stories narrated by different children to explain how special they are.

I wish the stories would be written in an easy language like at “Here we are” (highly recommend 👍)

It is a long shot, but I’d like to address my wish book idea to those who are well aware of the life and struggles of others

: albino children
: abandoned children
: foster care
: about bullying supernova and her son on transition wheelchair
: tetra-Amelia syndrome
: achondroplasia
: plus size ballerina

Kids books for adults

“How big is the world” was the question a mole asked his father. In the story, the mole went to ask a spider, a mouse, a horse, a seagull and finally a whale.
Most of them were very assertive that the world is not bigger than their web or field. And it was the whale who admitted he never reached the end of the world.

Now, applying the book’s logic into our lives, I wonder if many of us dare to think as a whale.
How often can we see further than our nose and admit that the world is bigger than our experience? Think about
✨ limiting your shopping preferences only to the nearby neighborhood
✨Spending holidays in the same places year after year
✨ Blindly believing in the rightness of your opinion and ignoring other views

That is one of the most empowering stories I have read recently which fully represents the foundation for “continues learning and improvement”
I will definitely recommend this book as one of the coaching tools for adults.

How far can your imagination go?

Have you seen the variety of children books these days? Dancing giraffes, friendship of a duck and frog, flying cows, scared monsters and so on.

Do you think anything can still surprise you? Let’s think of unthinkable

How about
🤯 Hungry triangle and pregnant octagon?

🤯 Or have you ever thought if colors can have feelings? Let’s say a happy brown and angry green?

🤯 Or shall we try giving shapes to the uncountable and never ending things? Such as diamond sugar, oval sky and triangle salt?

I’m sure there are books about this. Do you know one? Or can you come up with something mind blowing?

CARTOONS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT

These are very popular books which have maybe less popular cartoons

1. Gruffalo.
Yes, there are a couple of episodes of Gruffalo you can find online.

2. Llama Llama.
The first Llama Llama book was published in 2005, but its first episode was released just over 2 years ago.

3. Angelina ballerina
The series of the books goes back to 80s. It is about a mouse who wants to be a ballerina and as any other kid, also likes adventures. The cartoons are more recent, last episode released a couple of years ago.

4. Peter Rabbit.
It is hard to believe, but some of these books were published over 100 years ago. The episodes however, are being released until now.

5. Curious George
This curious monkey always finds things to keep himself busy. I’m sure many kids can relate themselves to George.

6. Paddington
One of the classics, Paddington as a character appeared in late 50s and one of its last appearance was featured in an animated comedy in 2014. Always kind and polite bear can help teaching some manners 😍 I’m very much in love with the old version of the cartoons.

Meet Olivia,

The main character in my soon-to-be-published book about Ramadan.
Olivia is a sweet young girl whose kindness will melt everyone’s heart.

I definitely recommend my book to anyone who likes to consider other people’s points of view. It is also a must have for the expats who see the need of passing certain values.
These days life changes too fast, it helps to have some “old good” basics
