Recap of 2024: A Year of Highs, Lows, and Unwavering Gratitude💘
This year has been extraordinary. From viral moments to personal milestones, every step has been a testament to the love and passion behind House of Useless.
✨ Viral Success
Our upcycled jackets and bombers became sensations. Each year since 2018, a piece has captured hearts and went viral, but this year felt extra special because so many of you joined us on this journey and got one of the viral pieces!
✨ Joining a Women’s Club
I became part of a community of inspiring women with incredible careers. My first meeting is next year, and I’m excited to connect and grow.
✨️Selling out collections in a heart beat! Our collections are made to order or contain just a few pieces. In any case, you sold them all out in no time ⚘️
✨ Museum Exhibit
Our second exhibit at Centraal Museum as part of the expo "Moda" with so many other cool designers and artist is just beyond words. Seeing people pause to admire our design is a dream.
✨ Meeting the Queen
Sharing my work and story with Queen Máxima was an honor I’ll never forget—a true career highlight.
✨ Growth
From signing for a city-center atelier to hosting amazing workshops, 2024 was full of growth and gratitude.
But alongside these highs came challenges: illness, surgery, and the question, “What’s next?”. I’m learning to embrace those moments and thoughts and channel them into future growth, wherever my path will lead me to.
To everyone who supported us in 2024: thank you. You’ve made every high brighter and every challenge worth it. Without your support we would not have been here 🙏 Here’s to an even better 2025, together🥂🍾
