When can my baby hold a bottle? 🍼 When can he eat bread or hold a cup? 🍞
Your baby is developing rapidly. And it is wonderful to recognize and follow these developments of your baby.

🐣Birth: your baby eats reflexively
12 weeks: swallowing and sucking is done consciously
🍼16 weeks: your baby recognizes the bottle
7 months: your child pretends to hold the bottle
8 months: holding a spoon and drinking from a cup by itself becomes increasingly easy
🍞10 months: when drinking, your child can help hold the cup and eats bread by itself
12 months: your child can eat with his fingers (thumb and index finger)
🥄13 months: it plays with the cup, spoon and plate
15 months: your child can hold a cup to drink by itself
18 months: a half-full cup can be held well, and a spoon can be used well (still a bit messy)

❓We receive questions daily about the proper use and preparation of Jovie formula.
For instance, “Which water is best to use? Is this tap water, or can mineral water also be used? And should it be boiled first?”🚰💧🍼

In most European countries it is best to use tap water directly from the cold tap to prepare bottle feeding. First, let the tap run for a while so that any remains of boiler or geyser water can run out of the pipes. And you must make sure that your house no longer has lead water pipes.
You can then use a bottle warmer to warm up the water, you can add boiling water to the cold water, you could heat the prepared milk in a pan of hot water, or you can use the microwave.
Why is it not recommended to use mineral water? The content of salts and minerals in some bottled waters is too high for the preparation of bottle feeding.

So, just use cold tap water and then bring it to the right temperature. 🚰💛

🤔🍼The protein in milk can be divided into casein and whey proteins. At Jovie, we maintain the natural composition of protein from organic whole goat milk powder, the main ingredient in our bottle feeds.
We do not add any additional whey protein to our infant formula, keeping our products as natural as possible. 💛🌱
To meet the specific protein needs of babies, we add individual amino acids (building blocks of protein) to our infant formulas.

We are becoming more and more aware of what we consume and the products we buy. Many consumers choose for a bottle-feeding without Soy for various reasons 🍼. Sometimes deforestation takes place to make soybean cultivation possible. We opt for an organic formula without soy to prevent this from happening. That makes sense, right!? 🤗

🤗 We often receive (good) questions from our Jovie fans. The question that comes up more often: "Is it safe to prepare a bottle of formula ahead of time?" 🍼

Yes, that is possible! Jovie formula can be prepared in advance. When doing this, we recommend preparing small batches according to the instructions on the can to ensure a good mixing and a proper amount of nutrients for each bottle. Store the bottles immediately after preparation in the refrigerator at a maximum of 4°C. A prepared formula can be stored (in the refrigerator) for up to 8 hours.

🎉 Language development in children is truly a wonderful adventure! 🚀
From unintelligible gibberish to surprising conversations, it's one big journey full of hilarious moments. Children make a language journey full of playfulness and imagination. 😊 It all starts with those heartwarming baby sounds they try to communicate with. "Ga-ga", "ma-ma", and "pa-pa" are often the first words that melt our hearts. 🍼 And then, just when you think they can't say more than a few words, they gift you a fantastic phrase that will leave you speechless!

2. Give her a (foot) massage: Pregnancy can be physically challenging, so a soothing massage is always welcome!

3. Surprise her with (little) presents: It doesn't have to be extravagant, but a little surprise will brighten her day.

4. Offer a listening ear: Pregnancy can be accompanied by emotions and uncertainties. So be there for her when she vents about her thoughts and concerns.

5. Take over some of her chores: Pregnancy can be quite tiring. She'll really appreciate it if you take over some of her chores.
