Happy Granny Square Day 🎉
Granny Squares are great - they've been a part of our little collection right from the beginning of EarthApple🔶🧡
We felt them though. Technically it's called 'fulling' by the way:
First working the wool (weaving, knitting or in the case of granny squares: crocheting).
Then going through the process of felting to make the item thicker, studier and more insulating🧶👌
A few examples from over the years:
* The square Comfort Zone is a granny square (📸 1)
* The Emotional Airbag, the bag itself is a granny square (📸 2)
* We used to make proper shoulder bags out of granny squares, pretty right (📸 3)

Pompom making, the old fashion way🧡
Turns out I highly prefer this wooden 'fork' to the plastic contraptions for pompom making.
This one is fast and easy wrapping the 🧶, but it takes a bit longer to trim the pompom afterwords.
The esthetics though, for me it's definately this one every time👌
What can I say, I just happen to love wood🌳 and other natural materials 🤷‍♀️

Moving on
Unpacking, undusting and cleaning after Castlefest has taken its time. But now we're ready to give this website / webshop a good scrub and update.
New products are coming bit by bit - like the KindCards (already here) and the Scraps, they're not quite ready yet. And much more.
At the same time, we're working on a number of our 'old' and familiar items, so there's more to choose fram again: The Big Hugs for instance, and the Hugs. But, well, all in good time because: creating & crafting by hand here :)
