I didnt have access to a printer so I quickly realised I would have to draw my own pattern… I measured the kids faces and it was a whole lot of trial and error. I ended up drawing over 15 versions before settling on the perfect one…

In May 2020 my family and I were stuck in Spain waiting to be let back into our home country Qatar. Masks were sold out everywhere and there was no way of going anywhere without one. I decided to try sewing my own mask. I had some left over curtain fabric and a sewing machine from when I was in fashion school in Marbella, Spain… Swipe for first mask.
