Nordic Wool Adventures is a shop run by me, Sara. Inspired by traditional Scandinavian design. I started knitting in Autumn 2014 when I started to work in the outdoors in Northern Norway. Moving to Norway, I wanted to learn about the culture and the traditions of this spectacular country and it's people. Knitting has a long history in Norway starting in the early 1600s. This and the very long cold

winters, where temperatures sometimes drop to 40/50 below, made me want to learn this craft. After hours and hours of practise I finally held my own handmade pair of warm gloves in my hands. That is where everything started. With my products I want to ensure that you will keep warm on any adventure you do! All my products are 100% handmade. 🎉 H A P P Y N E W Y E A R 🎉 Godt nytt år 🎉 and 🎉 Frohes Neues 🎉 to all of you! I hope you will have a a great time in 2018. My goal knit-wise for this year is definitiv trying out new things, knitting more for myself or at least knitting what I want and then maaaaaybe it will make it's way into my shop 😁 Other then that I wanna enjoy living in our new home, get better at ,travel a bit and learn new crafts 💞 I am starting this year with felting my last knitting project from 2017, 2 huge gloves knitting from rest wool. I can't wait to see how they will turn out! Have a lovely day you all 😚

❄ D E C E M B E R ❄ I am still knitting on some christmas presents and as I can't show some of them here before christmas, did I look for an older picture. I knitted this sweater last winter, it always remainds me on ice and snow. I can't wait to knit another one and finish the two pattern I wanna publish, but for now I am in christmas and work mood 🎄🎁 what are your plans for the first christmas weekend? I will be hunting Northern Lights in the evenings 🌌

It has the dogs for and - the mountains for and the beautiful landscape up here - the Northern Lights as Alta is known as and the dark main colour for the 💞

I am dog- and house sitting for some friends this weekend and I forgot to take my knitting stuff 😨 luckily they had one ball of wool and one crochet needle in the house. It was about time to learn how to crochet anyhow 😂 what does your weekend look like?

What to do when the puppies at yours are getting bigger and bigger? Right, you go and visit a friend to cuddle the cutest 4 boys in Alta! These two are Max and Diesel from one day they will run the but for now there main hobby is to try to eat everything they can find, including these beautiful 😅
