Meet our co-founder Joe; the man behind the scenes of Arctic Soles, making sure everything runs smoothly🦾😻
Joe is wizard with numbers, logistics and all things requiring an analytical mind; he is also a passionate photographer and gifted webdesigner🦉🐧
Without him, Arctic Soles would be an organisational mess😬 From the start, Joe has created all the process and systems that allow us to keep track of growing orders from all over Norway. He is also the reason the business hasn’t gone bankrupt and Ben isn’t in jail for tax incompetency👀
After reaching Lofoten on a roadtrip through Norway 5 years ago, he decided to stay for a few weeks of skiing – on day 1 he met Ben; also another Brit and both of them from Oxfordshire!🤔
Covid happened, and a road trip turned into a total paradigm shift; Joe has been on the Islands ever since!
Keen for an unlikely Norwegian business adventure, Joe founded Arctic Soles with Ben in November 2020. The two make the perfect business partnership: if Ben is the hammer, Joe is definitely the brain🧠
Joe is committed to making the most of every moment he can spend outside; hiking up a different peak every day in summer, sea kayaking to random islands to take pictures of birds, ski touring and climbing. The good Lofoten lifestyle!
