Are you guys ready for tomorrow’s shop update?! I’m prepping like crazy, and I thought I’d show you a little behind the scenes of what I’ve been up to today👀 Sure, the first thing I need to do before a shop update is to actually make the products! For me, that means drawing them, sending them to my manu, working out the details, pay💸, and then wait for them to arrive here. But it doesn’t end there!
I have to take pictures of all the new products, preferably pictures that will look good on the website. I then make listings of each individual new product. This takes a long time if there are lots of new products, like there are this time. I have to make sure all the settings in each listing is correct, so they will show up on my website correctly. Fun fact: it has happened once or twice that I’ve forgotten to set a price on a listing, which means it was free when I launched the shop update😂 Luckily I have the most amazing Patreon members who caught the mistake within minutes, so I was able to change it.
I do everything on this one desk. That means I have to DIY a little photo studio when I want to take pictures and videos. I have these silk fake flowers, as well as a cardigan I like the texture and color of as a kind of background. This way I can ensure none of the monitors are visible in the background.
My trusty, old phone stand still works wonders! It’s a little flimsy these days, so it might be time to upgrade, but for now it works just fine😌 this stand lets me take pictures and videos hands-free, so I can use both my hands in my videos.
I take photos and videos! I often take lots of photos and short clips, and don’t think too much about it. I’d rather have lots to choose from later when I sit down to edit.
For this shop update, I’ve also made a ton of bundles! It’s been requested that I make bundles for all the planner related stickers, for example, and I want to give you what you want! I’ve discounted all the bundles, so they’re roughly 15% off. Patrons get another 15% off their entire order btw👀
Some of these bundles have A LOT of stickers in them (the biggest one has 17 sheets), so I figured pre-packing a few of them would be beneficial for me.
