Dundas Footwear was established to produce quality footwear of the highest order, but also to utilize the knowledge and experience that still exist in Europe. As more and more factories are closed down or moved to more cost-effective countries, the knowledge and tools for making products by traditional methods are dwindling. The Dundas clan name was chosen not only because it is Liam`s old family

name, but because it represent hundreds of years of continuous history under the clan motto "Essayez", or "Try". The Dundas tartan is used in the heel straps on our boots, as a reminder of Dundas`great history, and to remind us to always try our best.

The store in Oslo is closed today, as the Dundas Racing Team is on its way to Sweden and the first race for the season....

We are (are we?) proud to introduce the dynamic duo Eirik & Arne Andreas, who will welcome customers old and new to the Haugesund store this Saturday, and this Saturday only. As cosplaying shoe salesmen while Liam and I are in Portugal, they are probably as well suited to the task as spaghetti is for scaffolding, but you never know. And it is the thought that counts, right? Be nice to them, and please call me if they start an autumn sale or something weird.
