When it comes to teething toys, hygiene is a top priority. Unlike natural rubber, which tends to attract dust and lint, maple wood is naturally antibacterial and has a smooth, non-tacky surface—meaning it stays cleaner for longer. Plus, the organic cotton parts? They’re easy to wash, but attention—I recommend cleaning by hand with soapy water due to the wooden ring which shouldn't be machine-washed. But, don't worry, if you accidentally wash it in the machine, we'll happily send you a new one! : )
Durability matters too! While rubber can wear down over time, maple wood holds up beautifully against little gums and growing teeth. And because our teething rings are made with untreated or naturally finished materials, they’re a safer, more sustainable choice for both babies and the planet.
But let’s not forget the sensory experience! The mix of smooth wood and soft cotton creates the perfect sensory experience! 💛
