Creative Touch Garment Industry is a sole proprietorship firm established on 17th August, 1999, registered with Government of Nepal - Department of Cottage and Small Scale Industry and Internal Revenue Department on 31st October, 2000. Rajani Thapa as a sole proprietorship. Thapa is the Managing Director of the firm. Various colleagues manage administration, design, sampling, produc
tion, post production and export units; and skilled workers fabricate quality garment products. Thapa looks after overall activities of the firm. She has experience of more than two decades in this field. The firm provides employment to around 95 people – 38 women and 57 men. Occasionally the firm also provides internship opportunities to local and foreign fashion students. Nature of Business:
The firm is a manufacturer and exporter of stylish funky garment. The Sales and Factory is based in Nayabazaar, Kathmandu. Wholesale is main stream business. There are also two retail outlets in Thamel, the touristic hub in the heart of Kathmandu. There is one retail outlet target in Nayabazaar. Nature of Products:
Almost every Creative Touch product is the result of extensive research, clever and creative design work of our design and sample unit. Most of our products are handmade. Various appliqués like screen printing, embroidery, chain stitch, hand stitch, razor cut, patchwork and the like is what makes our product stand out. Our artisans come from different ethnic backgrounds, mutually dedicated towards creativity, quality and uniqueness of product that reaches our clients. CSR – Women Empowerment:
The firm is committed in training and creating jobs for semi-skilled women. Out of 38 women employees 15 have been trained and then employed in fabrication unit. This has directly benefited the firm by creating its own quality manpower which is in short supply.
