The initial on our product is the first initial of our product name "Haushala" in Nepali which means "ENCOURAGEMENT" .

The products here are made by the single challenged women yet beautiful women and youth from Nepal. When the world is moving fast with technology we need to realize that the art of hand work is fading away. This is one of the reason why our product name is "Haushala" meaning to encourage the art of handwork and to encourage women/youth create beautiful clothing line that make you look beautiful a

nd help them empower economically. The sales of these products supports the hard work of the women who help to make and the CYF school project-a school dedicated for underprivileged children. This product line is our ongoing support that "women empowerment through economic empowerment is important!". All these products are designed by Haushala Thapa and her sister Samanata Thapa where they call themselves the OWL designer siste's! They utilize clothe and any items that are not used and recycle them into bags! It can be second hand clothe and turning into a beautiful product! :)

Today and every day, let's celebrate women. Let's hear women. Let's empower, elevate, and encourage women from all backgrounds and identities. Let there be equal fair pay and respect for women in all fields. As women and girls, we have rights but still we do not have equality when it comes to decision-making, representation and recognition, be it at work or at home. We're determined to change that.

Meet our heroes from Haushala Creatives who are bubbly, shy, strong, and confident, who embrace, support and stand together. When our makers receive their salary every month, they say they do not need to be dependable on their partners for investment, and that they have equal decision-making power in their life. That's when we know we are making a difference.
