Oooh, it's the first Chooseday in June - & that means it's officially winter! So with that in mind, & my cousin Annie visiting from Brisbane, warm winter vests & jackets are our choices!
Annie was delighted to meet Simpson & Victoria - thanks so much for joining in the Chooseday mayhem! Note the first 2 pics are a reversible jacket - faux fur one side & quilted on the other!
We threw on some scarves - you'd think Annie had been modelling for years!

Starting the long weekend - looks like settled weather tho' some rain would be good!
Amberley Farmers Market is on this morning - you can get your coffee fix from Ronnie, Dale & the team @ Nor'Wester Cafe, Alan will be serving up great fresh fruit & veges with a side helping of friendly cheek @ Amberley fruit& vege and Victoria will be holding the fort @ Sally Mac's!!!
If you're travelling, take it easy on the roads - we'll be closed on Monday, & back as usual on Tueday!

Pop down to Leithfield tomorrow & check out the amazing work of Beverley Forrester's wool fashion at The Red Barn. Beverley was awarded Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit earlier this year, for services to the fashion & wool industries.
Beverley is a long-time customer of Sally Mac's - she works tirelessly for her community & for the organizations she is involved in.

It's such a buzz hearing from a happy customer that we 'got it right'!! Since Sunday, I've been exchanging emails with a lovely woman from South Canterbury! It always helps when the overnight Courier Post service arrives the next morning!
J loved the floral top we showed on last week's Chooseday post! Here are some parts of what she wrote...
Hi Sally,
Thanks kindly for your reply to my email. The top is actually for my mum. She is in rest home care. Mum is a size 8-10 but bigger makes it easier to dress her.
Fingers crossed there might be one left in store!

Wonderful thank you Sally. It will be lovely to have something new for mum to wear. Appreciate you going the extra mile to help me out. Hope to stop in next time we travel north.
