So what makes our sand socks different?
The materials:
After our personal journeys with sand socks, we found they were too thick, weighed us down after being filled with sand, and just too heavy duty. That's why we chose to try something different, using only 3mm in contrast to 6 or 7, we halved the thickness of usual sand socks.
This was the best thing we could have done, our socks are lighter, thinner and still have the durability that is needed to make them last.
The design:
We introduced modern wetsuit technology into our design to ensure quality and durability. With the use of double needle and blind stitching, we can ensure that our sand socks have the toughness to last. In addition to this, we added a non-slip sole to our socks, to maximise traction and stability in the sand. Using a non-toxic, soft plastic material, we could improve the functionality of our sand socks, providing even more protection on the sand.

We show our pride by using the silver fern as the main symbol in our logo, and promoting that symbol anywhere that we can. We know first hand about the weather conditions here in NZ, and have tested these sand socks on our very own sand.
