So... we just have 2 & a bit weeks to go now before we leave N.Z. for our U.K. adventure 🤗 Apts. Prior to that are now FULL, but we're already getting enquiries regarding custom makes for Summer Art Deco Festival 2027. We will be back just before Labour weekend, so DO book an apt. Now for a consult/ suitcase contents planning session, as these are also filling up fast before Christmas 😬 It's time to finish off the last of our outfits for Goodwood Revival, and find the appropriate matching hats, gloves, bags & shoes, before attempting the great packing mission for Mr. Mintage et Moi😎🎩👠👜😵‍💫🤣

Day 7 of for ...and I encourage you to - embrace the turban ! 🤣 Whether it's to keep a wetset in place while it dries, or it's just a problem hair day 😵‍💫 - you can't go past a favourite vintage scarf or matching fabric for the perfect turban. I've got so used to wearing these out, I forget I even have one on, until someone stops me for a chat about this style 🤭😁The Turban life has definitely chosen me 😎😆 Thanks to Arielle Greenberg Bywater Simone for hosting 😊

Day 5 of - week; and my trick/ tip is: 'Don't be afraid to attempt a rescue' Unearthed Vintage and Retro 💜 kindly gifted me the top half of a wounded bird a few years ago ❤️ - and really all it needed was some careful T.L.C and a lower half 😎🤣 My rescue in the 3rd pic was originally a 'Blanes of London' True Vintage dress. The lower half was badly damaged but the pleating on the bodice was so lovely I attached a new eve. Length and added the ribbon to reference a great thrifted Blazer for a Ball. I love that both these now get a new story despite the challenges of their past adventures 🥰 Thanks to Greenberg Bywater Simone for hosting 😊

Days 3 ( & 4 🙄🤣) of , and my for you is...'shop your wardrobe' !! 😎 There's nothing like getting your abode ready for housesitters to have a tidy up, but any excuse to sort can reveal a realm of new possibilities you never saw before 😮 Luxe '80s jackets can top off a '30s eve. gown, handknits get paired with an op-shopped Dior jacket 🥰, you discover a hat and Blazer that goes with that odd coloured Vintage top or skirt.
