Samantha How's project SENAIR, is a Sleep Apnea Therapy device that redefines the aesthetics of at home medical therapy through a discrete and contemporary form language to reflect the lifestyle of the users. Sleep apnea is a condition that affects many adults globally so her project aims to be intuitive and easy-to-use so it will eliminate barriers that interrupt the patient’s compliance to their therapy and reduce the stigma attached to the condition.
As a design student, Samantha is interested in how design affects all aspect of our wellbeing through Family Health, Spirituality, Physicality, Mental Health and how our design decisions affect our lifestyle.
This project was done in collaboration with AUT's Biodesign Lab
