tēnā koutou!
A few handmade pieces just off the bench, a pair of classic bifold wallets and a painted suede glasses case. Each wallet is cut, stitched and finished by hand, with a focus on clean lines, balanced proportions and leather that will age beautifully with use. The glasses case is something a little different soft quirky painted suede made to feel protective without being bulky. Small details, honest materials and pieces designed to be used every day. Mahi done with care and purpose.
Getting back to leathercraft hasn’t been easy. A serious hand injury put me out of action for two months. Returning to my workbench has taken patience (something I lack 🤦) rebuilding focus, stamina and confidence has been its own journey. Being able to make again feels deeply satisfying. I’m grateful to be back doing this mahi step by step, but still moving forward.
My amazing wife has helped me through this frustrating time with pure kindness and love. Megan you are an incredible woman and I love you with all of my heart.
