Fun fact—disposable nappies take ~150 years to break down / decompose. Therefore, every single “single use” disposable nappy ever made and used still exists in landfill today. I must admit, first attempts to “cloth nappy” is a mind-field. There are SO many options and choices. Which is which?

Here is a visual snapshot of “how to use a cloth nappy” in 10 photos. It’s easy peasy.

1. Fold the “prefold” cotton insert (soaks up the “wees”) into the pocket.

2. Button onto baby.

3. The end.

The uniqueness of happy futures nappies is that the only fabric touching baby skin is 100% natural (wool and tencel) and is the most efficient natural fabric to wick water off surface off baby’s skin and into the “inner” which soaks it up.
