Creative Common Occupation

Creative Common Occupation CCO is a collective of NZ designers producing high quality, local designs with a physical connection to the complete process of making.

Creative Common Occupation (CCO) unites a group of designers with a common pursuit: to create a community of shared design skills and knowledge-bases. This Thursday TÜR ~~~ GLENN YUNGNICKEL~~~

Yungnickel’s work responds to the effects of mass production and mass-consumerism on design systems and specifically on the participatory function of the designer; a function that has shifted from the artisan, closely and physically connected to his or her work, to a more impersonal, industrialised model.
His work is grounded on designer-maker ideals which is supported by his observations and interpretation of ‘slow fashion’ as a direct response to the mass market.

Jack Jai is a designer and founder of development label, PROJECT. His designs respond to the desire for classic wardrobe staples which is the perfect accompaniment to the ready to wear and his bespoke range.

Introducing Lulu Liu~~
"To me, clothing should evoke a sense of ease and comfort; it should be effortless, and unaffected by passing trends and seasons. I am using alternative ways to create garments that are timeless by using quality fabrics and experimental cuts." - Lulu Liu

Tia Feng~~ 'I'm a young designer whose religion is Drake, and bubble tea. An avid fan of hip hop and chill vibes, I draw inspiration from contemporary art and the people around me. I do what I do for the people who think like me and vibe with me; these are clothes designed for the misfits, the cuties, the baby gurls with stars in their eyes.''
