I wanted to mention something. The op had a description that detailed a fan who got made fun of for liking y**i, and how much it hurt him (the fan). I understand that people have this perception of "crazy fangirls that fetishize gay men." But that is just not always the case. To make fun of, or harshly criticize, someone for liking y**i/yuri based on your own assumptions or personal experience is so harmful. You don't know what someone is going through! And to just spread negativity, ESPECIALLY to those who are minding their business and aren't bothering you, is just sad.
I will always want my page to be a place accepting of open discussions. But I also want it to be a safe space for those who love lgbtq+ genres, AND for those who want to not feel fetishized. So please, keep it to yourself or be kind 💖💖

A bit overwhelmed these past few days.
It's hard seeing how this country (currently living in the U.S) views us black people when we are fed up and decide to take action.
It's hard to see rioters and the media villianizing the blm movement as something that inherently incites bad behavior.
It's hard to see (but also a relief to know) those you thought were on your side show their true colors.
It's hard experiencing and knowing that racism exists all over the world, including my birth country (not originally from the U.S).
It's hard that the moment I stepped foot here I was told "go back to your country."
It's FU***NG HARD having to explain to a little black boy "No, don't put your hands in your pocket while we're in the store or else people will think you're stealing."
And it's harder when we're losing our lives for it.
To everyone who stands with us, thank you 💖
To everyone out there protesting, please be safe. 💕🙏🏾
