Neub-Hesbedj represents the Gold and Blue. The gold represented the flesh of Gods, rich and powerful. The Blue was the skin, hair of Gods and the expanse or infinite Sky and Waters, standing for Divinity and Protection.

Egypt was rich in gold, but always mixed with silver, and other elements for a lighter colour. The blue was derived from Lapis Lazuli in ancient Egypt and later from crushed minerals and plant extracts as Lapis lazuli was expensive.

Blue was extensively used to represent images of Pharaohs, in decorations in the structures of the rich, ceramics & artifacts, and in tombs as a protection for a path to God.

Gold was widely used to create the accessories of the Pharaohs, to trade in jewelry & artifacts, and also tongues of mummies are found to have been made in gold. It represents the wings of goddesses and the aura of the Sun God.

Here represents the Blue, in a fine suit, deep in steady growth towards infinite successes and assurance, emphasizing on Womanly strength and a modern woman, while the gold accessories and decorated camisole styled by add abundance and character of beautiful ornamented power dressing for success. One can notice the gold wings, thread embroidery wings with gold accents on the ensemble.

Wadj, an Egyptian Fusion Ensemble, created with Versatile Global Styling & Accessorizing techniques, is a Fine Suiting attire that speaks of creativity and exquisite quality.

The word Wadj (green) also means “to flourish” or “to be healthy”.

The colour green represented vegetation, new life and fertility. In an interesting parallel with modern terminology, actions which preserved the fertility of the land or promoted life were described as “green”.

However, the ancient Egyptians recognised the cycle of growth and decay, and so green was also associated with death and the power of resurrection or rebirth after judgements.

Malachite represented joyfulness and the eye make up made from ground up malachite was known to defend against certain eye complaints and wearing it was also seen as invoking the protective power of the God and goddess of life, Death, judgement and rebirth in ancient Egypt.

We have incorporated feathers that hold a profound significance in ancient Egyptian rituals, representing key aspects of truth, justice, and the cosmic order, thus connecting to the Wadj. The kaleidoscopic tie of Egyptian beads represents colourful lives and the heart’s desire and is balanced with the feather of justice.

The legacy of symbolism serves as a bridge between ancient and contemporary understandings of spirituality and mortality. It reveals the relevance of symbols in contemporary cultural practices, reminding us of the Universal quest for truth and balance in our lives.
