INDUSTRY NEWS: STRESS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.

A recent industry study dove into immense work-related stress occurring in the construction industry and the profound effects it has on productivity and the overall health of workers.

The majority of participants said they have high levels of stress mainly due to poor communication, unrealistic timeframes and budgets. Stress overload in the industry can be really dangerous and something that needs to be addressed.

Solutions and responses to the issues such as empowerment of employees, and regular workload allocation reviews are becoming more and more common. This is super encouraging to see.

We hope this issue continues to be addressed so workers can safely return home to their whanau after work - mentally & physically.
