I'm having problems with my eyesight. Something called macular degeneration.
Thankfully regular injections into the eye has restored sight to a great extent. Not to be outdone the second eye has decided it too needs regular injections!! That's why Im sitting in the waiti ng room of Greenlane eye clinic waiting to see the specialist on duty.

Feed back from a customer this week.
She is enjoying creating something beautiful knitting with handdyed Amy Maria Kid Mohair yarn.
I love the kid mohairsilk for its beauty, quality of the fabric it creates, softness warmth and hardiness. It dyes like a dream.
It has been my passion for so many years.
Photo is of a Cymbidium (sp) Orchid from a pot in my garden. Matching skein of mohairsilk from the dyepots. Ecru, the natural colour of the Kid Angora goat fleece.
Call to see the other orchid shades and many other vibrant, delicious colours waiting for their forever Knitters/Crocheters/Weavers to call, squish and add to their stashes!
Price is still $33.30 /50g including gst.

Brrr. ..13°C maximum today! I have the heatpump on and am sitting next to a window soaking up a bit of the bright sunshine. Pic is of the pretty pink jumper I'm sewing up today. Id love to know about your WIPs in progress!

What are you knitting/crocheting? I'm knitting a pretty pink jumper, WIP of two baby cardis. Found a jumper needing sewing up. Ecru with pastel stripes in another bag.. 😳 Sounds familiar? Pic is of a kid mohairsilk jumper held double in a glorious blue. Have a great weekend

Hello Crafters. We started our first Tuesday "Getting
to know your sewing machine classes" today.
The two hours from 11am- 1pm flew past.
Very happy to be able to supply two members with good solid machines. There is no point in teaching someone to sew if they don't have an own machine to take home with them.
If anyone has a machine gathering dust I'm sure if could find a good home for it!

This is the five- louvre doors display mentioned in Amy Maria 'Memories' today.Took the photo this morning and, judging by the gaps, I'll be stirring the dye pots creating replacements as soon as the weather warms up! In the meantime, keep those needles clicking and ideas coming! Call soon to squish and dream up projects. Heaps of gorgeous colours to choose from. on the rest of the display as well

July 18th, 25th. August 1st, 8th.

I have two names for a weekday class to be held at Amy Maria shop. I can fit in one more person. Anyone interested please

Update. The sewing machine classes are in full swing. One new machine has
tension problems and will need an experienced machine man's TLC. Two old machines are stitching like the goodies they are! Lovely bunch of women. Makes me quite keen to run another Saturdays course. If I do decide on a course please

Morning Everybody I love soft toys .I have
Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck and Paddingon Bear in Amy Maria shop.
The other day I was asked to try to repair a much loved Teddy. He needed quite a bit of TLC but I was happy to do the job. With a bit of fibre added and a hand crocheted
scarf he was as handsome a Teddy as could be. Have a look at the photos!

Gabrielle the ballerina,
will be coming to see me for some tlc too!
