History of where I began.
*Graduated from The School of Clothing and Textiles at Wellington Polytechnic.
*Worked in Melbourne for The Bridal Palace creating and altering wedding gowns.
*Pattern cutter for Tas Clothing Co in Melbourne producing Children's wear for David Jones,Myers & Big W.
*Pattern cutter for Zandra Rhodes in London.
*Presently running my own business. Situated on the North Shore

in Auckland, my dressmaking business is specialising mainly in creating beautiful Wedding dresses, mother of the Bride or Groom dresses and Ball gowns. Are you looking for an unique wedding gown or something a little special, like a one off outfit ? I also specialise in being able to alter or recreate wedding gowns that aren't quite right making them into something beautiful that fits perfectly. Congratulations Natasha 🩷

Beautiful Natasha celebrated her special day on a NZ Island. Travelling by boat to her ceremony would have been an adventure in itself.

Tash had her gown created off shore. When she came to ZC she wasn’t in love with her creation so we set to re vamp and create a perfect fit and an elegant softer look.

Firstly we re sized the dress to a perfect fit, lifted off a lot of heavy appliquéd lace , removed lining on the lower front skirt, added tulle for the front skirt lining and created softer sheer lace godets in the front of her gown. Finally the neckline was firmed up, sleeves were tightened and sized to correct width and hemline was shortened and lace re appliquéd on the hemline.

The transformation made Tash one of the happiest brides I’ve met. 🩷

Jenna’s amazing wedding celebration was held on Waiheke Island Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant

Jenna purchased her beautiful off the shoulder dress from Astra Bridal - Bridal Boutique NZ which was a perfect look for her special day held Weddings by Mudbrick

It was lovely to meet Jenna who needed alterations on her dress. The shoulder neckline bands were shortened at the centre back bodice to the correct length as well as the skirt hem shortened to the perfect length.

Congratulations Lianne & Shaun 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

What an incredible wedding day it was for this wonderful couple 🩷🩷set in East Auckland with views out to the sea.

Lianne purchased her dress from The Bridal Outlet which was so gorgeous on her. The front bodice was held to the back bodice by a natural underarm side mesh panel giving a beautiful back look, flowing into a wide circular cut skirt.
She came to ZC to have her dress sized in on the bodice and hemmed to the correct length. We also added bra cups to give a smooth and perfect front bodice.

We made up a ZC long custom made veil to compliment her dress length.

Lianne had her photography taken by Pure Bliss Media | Wedding Photography & Film | Mel & Blake with the most amazing backdrops in East Auckland. 🩷

Her hairdresser was Emma • Auckland Hairdresser who did a fantastic job. 🩷

A friend sent me this photo she’d taken without me realising sitting near the 2000 year old amphitheater here in Durres.

I’d like to introduce myself to my new clients who have booked in for the up and coming wedding season. Thank you for your messages. 💛

For all alterations, I recommend the first dress fitting 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date and allow 2 weeks for the completion of the work.
