He Oranga Ngākau: A Story about Healing

I wanted to speak about this collection/show to a personal journey, one that really peeled back the layers, placing my self in a space of vunerabilty. My creativity is a personal narrative, building chapters one after the other.

This past year has presented its self with trials and tribulations Id never thought I would experience. A death of a loved one can cause unmeasurable damage creating an unbalance, our wairua (spirit), tinana (body), hinengaro (mind) and all the diverse dimentions of our well being.

Be kind to one another, respect one another. And do what makes you happy !

Again huge mihi to the Waha (Tuteri Rangihaeata)team who put this together

“Ko te Mouri me te Mouri Ora”

As we confront the discerning changes of our environment we become stark to understand how we become a reflection.

Our show “Oranga ngākau” situates our selves and sensorsies that inhibit our awareness of the past. We are building up to what will be a beautiful moment.

As we approach NZFW we are excited to mention our collaboration with Aotea.

A film that has been inspired by the recent podcast released with Aotea founder and owner Tama Toki.

Our discussions speak of Rongoā in all forms that are physical and metaphysical. The seen and unseen elements to which coagulate a plethora of potentially, energies that harness the inner workings of our celestial stories, Te Kore (the void) l

We can not wait to share this film at New Zealand fashion week and hear with you all !

Kia ora e te iwi Māori,

After a nearly three-year wait and the postponement in 2021, we are thrilled to announce our participation in the 21st New Zealand Fashion Week 2023

During this transformative period of recovery and healing, Campbell Luke returns to New Zealand Fashion week with a nostalgic and sentimental touch.

We are proud to present a new collection in honor of a beloved Brother, Dad, and Son. This collection captures the essence of equilibrium, harmony, peace, and restoration. It embodies the core themes of the event and project, aptly named “He Oranga Ngākau.”

The unveiling of the new collection will take place on Tuesday 29 August
