We are SO excited to share that TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE for our very first Theatre Dance Academy Musical Theatre show!

DARE TO DREAM! -A Disney Jnr Musical R***e

For the past term our 46 member cast aged 10 - 18 years, have been spending their Saturday's at TDA singing, dancing, acting and having fun as they travel through learning and rehearsing the DARE TO DREAM show! A Disney special!

We are so very proud of how hard everyone has worked in our Theatre Day programme to learn their dances, songs, script and the work they are putting in to bring this to performance level - this is also on top of a very busy term of exams and other learning- Legends!

Our phenomenal creative team and musical theatre gurus; Greg Pearce, Rylie Macgibbon, Billie Macgibbon, Hana Pearce and of course our extremely talented students are so excited and honoured to bring this to the stage on OCTOBER 19th at the Papa Hou Theatre.

There are no words to express this most profound loss - all our love to Mandy's family xx

We were deeply saddened on Tuesday to hear of the passing of a very special person, Mandy Roberts.

Mandy has been a member of the Showbiz whanau and indeed, the greater dance and theatre community in Christchurch from a young age. She touched so many peoples lives as a performer, a dance captain, a choreographer, a teacher and a friend.

Mandy has been involved in a large number of Showbiz productions over the years including 42nd Street, Cats, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, West Side Story, Chess, Me and My Girl, Anything Goes and A Chorus Line to name but a few. She inspired thousands of young people through her dance and performing arts school, ‘Impact Stage and Dance School’ for over 20 years and her legacy of the skills and professional level attitude she instilled in her students is still evident in the many young people that perform with us today.

Her passion for dance, for musical theatre and for inspiring and encouraging young people to perform and shine is unmatched in our city. Without a doubt she has inspired many people to work successfully in our industry both here and around the world. Her legacy is massive, and she will be missed dearly.
