It was pretty quiet in the shop yesterday and I loved this outfit so much I decided to clean the windows for a second time this week just to give it the exposure it deserves.

Yes, George has basically turned to dust… but he’s still the same gorgeous boy he’s always been.

George’s winter working season has begun. When foot traffic slows down, he returns to work as Head of Snuggles and General Vibes.

Cheryl is shining in the McKenna Short Sleeve Cardigan.

You may have seen this beautiful woman in store before. She’s actually one of the reasons we started selling clothing at Abode and made the shift from kitchenware to becoming more of a lifestyle store.

I first met Cheryl almost 19 years ago when I started working at Toi Toi, back when she was selling giftware. Over the years she became the rep for brands and somewhere along the way helped inspire a decision that completely changed the direction of Abode.

I’ve genuinely never regretted making the move into clothing.

Cheryl is the kind of woman you feel better for being around. The type who radiates positivity, hypes people up and like a fine wine gets better ( and hotter) with age.

She has always been such a wonderful cheerleader for Abode and if you’re ever in store trying on clothes and she’s there don’t be surprised if she offers styling advice, grabs another size or tells you how amazing something looks on you. She’s a girl’s girl through and through. She’s the kind of woman who leaves people feeling brighter, more confident and better for having been in her company.
