A beautiful felt cloche style hat for my beautiful client going to a dress up party! Hand moulded felt hood with a red ribbon, feathers and an upcycled necklace pendant as the feature.

It has been too long since I have completed a new hat design as I've been busy focusing on my other sewing business!
But here we have my newest creation! A magenta pink, moulded and sculpted felt hat with black satin binding and black embroidery flowers and butterfly.

This was created for a client for a work party. She specifically requested the black and gold colour them and the woven straw base material. She also chose to have it worn on a headband for easy wear. I was given the dress she was wearing to match this was what I came up with 😃

Creating felt hats today, had to improvise a block out of a rolling pin to create the right shape I wanted 🤣 Whatever works though right!
