Halswell Toy Library

Halswell Toy Library We're located at Oaklands School in southwest Christchurch. We aim to involve families in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We're a volunteer-run, non-profit community organisation providing a valuable toy-lending service with a wide range of high-quality toys for hire to whānau and children aged 0 to 10 years. The Halswell Toy Library Inc (HTL) is a non-profit community service run by a voluntary committee, providing good quality toys for hire (6 months - 5 years old).

In observance of Anzac Day, the library will be closed this Saturday.

We take this time to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed. Lest we forget.

We will reopen on Wednesday 6 May, 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

Toys that are due back this weekend can be returned next Wednesday or on Saturday 2 May at no extra charge.

We’re open today until 12pm for our final session of the year - but please note, access is only via the Brenda Place walkway as the main school gates are locked.

Hire some fun for the holidays! Any toys borrowed today can be kept at no extra charge until we reopen on Saturday 10 January.
