Art by Eve McSoriley I love to draw ✍️ I love to sketch. I love faces, eyes and wrinkles. I love dresses. I love figures and silhouettes. If I like the look of something, I'll draw it.

As a child I filled countless books with doodles and drawings and scribbles. My sister Ruth taught me how to draw love hearts. I went through a phase as a teenager where all I drew was shoes. Just shoes. Until Mum was fed up and asked me to 'draw something else' so I painted my little brother's face in black and white paint. Then I fell in love with acrylics and wish I'd found them sooner! I adore

I enjoyed creating this for your clever daugher Sharee Ineson ! Sophie recently represented New Zealand at the international science fair. How inspiring, someone so young already making their mark in the science world. My favourite part to draw was the ship! So many intricate parts and paint pen doesn’t really do fine lines. I love a challenge. Go well Sophie!

I enjoyed drawing your kitty named “Karyn Black” .goose ! I love a black cat. She’s very like my boy Anakin. Black fur is a challenge to draw because of its saturation. I love that you wanted to capture your kitty’s bat ears and unique mouth. 🐈‍⬛ The eyes of a cat are fun to draw due to the multitude of colours. Like looking into an iridescent marble.
